Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Anyone want to share their bonus amounts or bonus range? Only interested in LL5+

I am curious what the bonus ranges look like for LL5 and above. They publish the GSR and LL6 amounts but have heard from many that the bonus amounts for LL4's especially is absurdly high - can't imagine what they are for LL3/LL2.

I'm not interested in what the amount is after the 56% ACIP amount, but the initial target amounts.

Isn't that lovely. Stock closed at $7.89 and Ford is throwing bonus money around.

What a way to run a business.

Regarding LL6 with million dollar mortgage - perhaps his spouse is a doctor, for example.

It is best not to count another man's money.

LL6 in FordX has a mortgage on his house for over a $million according to Wayne County land records. If he can be approved for and afford this, he is way overpaid for his “work.”

When I hired in 33 years ago, everyone said just buy Ford stock and you will retire a millionaire. This held true for a number of years and then the world changed. Unfortunately, too many people held onto it for too long, blindly enjoying the high dividend return, while neglecting the erosion of their equity. And, not understanding investment opps out there that have made many millionaires over the last decade (read recent Fidelity report about 401k millionaires).

I have not had any Ford stock for the past 15 years or so. I retired a millionaire with ease following some simple basic investing.

Get out of it now while it is still in the eights!!!

Sure, I am getting zero. I worked my a– off, retired, and look at the stock now... Now my investment in Ford Stock appears as a misinformed decision.

LL5 bonuses are typically double that of an LL6, plus they used to get stock options. I think it continues to double as you go up the levels. LL5+ bonuses have always been life changing- get a new kitchen, make a one time donation to college fund when your kid is young, remodel your house, etc.

There's a reason that they only publish GSR and LL6 targets. If you were to see what LL5+ get, you would blow a gasket.

Giving out bonuses, tells you all you need to know about the B.S. leadership. Why would upper management not take a bonus when the shareholders are getting tanked with $8 stock and a c-ap dividend. Save those bonus checks, as we may need them as we are walked out later this year. No wonder Wall Street gives us zero confidence. Can’t wait to hear how much Hackett is going to pay himself.....

Missed revenue projections.

Why do you want to know? It is similar to the end of the Planet of the Apes movie - you may not like what you find!!

I have heard of bonuses that equal their salaries.
