I realize now the talk and responses I read that appear to be ‘nuts’ are more from immaturity... I was that person for many many years

Referring to anyone who posts to STAY with Xerox/or core. They are not thinking for the future
Hoping and holding out for the chance you aren’t let go to get a few dollars bonus pay?
I suppose if you are within a year of retirement...maybe?
But even then
The only control you have over the situation is to leave
Other than that, it’s taking a chance with a company that doesn’t deserve you
I’m thankful to not be that person any longer - living paycheck to paycheck, not controlling my future, blah blah blah...

I often find myself wondering how the former owners of these XBS “cores” sleep at night knowing they sold out the livelihoods and family well beings of thousands of hardworking people that built the companies they sold quietly for a quick buck without looking back. As an intelligent investor, I can see the reasons for a sale. As a morally respecting human being, I despise their utter lack of humanity towards those that built their business. I hope that Porsche ride and sip of champagne erases the agony of tears those that worked their asses off to build your business don’t keep you up at night.
Don't set up a new job until you get the final notice. At Saxon we got 60 day notice our last day January 27. Only 1 person was let go that day. Some were extended until Feb 10 and let go, and some extended longer. If the bonus and severance matter to you, be flexible with the end date.
Does anyone know when SME's will be let go, our core transitioned months ago. we were under impression that SME was 6 month extension, that will be end date of April 1st but none of us have received the 60 day notice yet and we want it
