I understand completely. It seems the longer you stay, the harder it is to leave!

Skilled worker and employed at nov certainly don't belong in the same sentence. There is a reason rednecks are rednecks.

The last 2 posts have hit the nail on the head, milk that cow steadily and don't feed it none

There are many skilled US based international employees who would love to leave, but are locked into their employee visa with NOV and the company are in no rush to advance it. Can’t join another US firm, low wages and no need to give them a raise!

If you have been looking for a job for years, it is clear your skills warrant the pay you receive today. Honestly, you may be overpaid. The market is hungry for people , unemployment is at a 50 ear low. So IF you are searching and not finding, I would suspect the issue is you and not your current employer

@1ywe+13v7aVf2 Doh ! why do you think ? Obviously I am still getting paid a peak oil level of pay, 30% ICP, $30K of shares and more options (worthless). So I keep milking the cow until it goes dry or I get an equally rewarded job somewhere else. Also currently I reckon I am doing 3 hours of work per day lol........

You say you’ve been looking for a new job??? Yet you still work for NOV! Why is that???

Yes I am looking I am a level beneath VP and we are treated the same as everyone else. I haven’t had a pay rise since the reshuffle with segment presidents in 2014 and the same applies for a performance feedback discussion
What a joke of a management team, they are getting the performance that they deserve from us all !

I've been looking for a new job for years. NOV is a toxic place that rewards elementary school playground level of antics, and doesn't bother awarding good performance or even resilience to their b—s—. I wish I would have left loooooong ago.
