Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Pay

Cant believe it AT&T staff working with me are getting another year of pay rise and bumper bonus circa 9%. How can they afford this every year and how can we afford their expensive service.

Why cant we insource and pay our own staff a pay rise, what's going on?

With appraisals on going has anybody got a rise, or is it just a case of not doing anything for the appraisal as it's pointless?

What a joke the AT&T guys were rubbing their hands the other day laughing at us, bonuses and pay rise on the way they confirmed.

How sickening we don't see anything but cut year on year.

So why do we employ them and over pay them. Why doesn't the money goto DXC troops to boost morale and positivity. So demoralising when you see someone next to you getting big rises every year paid for by DXC but you get told DXCwont pay you.

The issue lies with DXC not AT&T.

Yep AT&T get rises every year much better than DXC.

Yes AT&T they get pay and bonuses every year go and ask a AT&T colleague who sits next to you, and see how his pay has risen since leaving CSC/DXC.

And its DXC Who employ them as sub contractors so if we can afford their inflated pay why cant we pay our own staff

AT&T is definitely better since leaving CSC my friend gets paid 54% more year on year for doing less work. He sits next to me and if he remained with DXC he would be on 54% less.

How can DXC outsource and pay them that much more yet skrew over it's own staff.

Mike Sal needs to get a grip and soon. Must make that pay rise announcement before end of March.

The point is that DXC outsourced the team to AT&T. So AT&T are being paid by DXC, taking their cut, and can STILL afford to pay them bonuses and pay rises.

Just shows the DXC staff are being treated like mugs.

AT&T? Seriously? You may think the grass is greener there but it's not: https://www.salon.com/2019/12/31/att-touted-worker-bonuses-after-3-billion-trump-tax-cut-now-its-outsourcing-thousands-of-jobs/

Unfortunately nothing will change at this company - paid as little as possible for the hard working grunts on the ground.

Along with that, I see contractors putting in 50+ hrs and cashing in on that too. While I work 50+ hrs/week and getting nothing for it.

The Mike and Mike show is like the Cirque de Soleil, different themes and actors, except with CdS it is entertain people and make money, while here is make money and entertain self.
