Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

@spdr+13tA7kOO - The COVID-19 stuff has been the focus of UHC for the last couple of weeks. The org is literally scrambling to figure out what they're going to do about this. Notice how every other health insurer and health care system has announced what they're doing for COVID-19 last week but UHC didn't? Yeah, they really have no clue what they're doing and how they're going to handle things.

I think the layoffs scheduled for last week were postponed because of COVID-19 but they will continue to happen. Consider this as some extra time to get your financial stuff in order, update your resume and apply for jobs outside of UHC.

So no word on recent lay offs as previously posted. Maybe Friday the 13th?? 😳

I was laid off on in February. I heard from a reliable source that my former manager is being Laid off tomorrow. What a great day it will be if this is true. Couldn’t happen to a better person. I may be unemployed, but I think I’ll splurge on some very nice Champagne!!

Layoffs are happening on 03/04 or 03/05. Optum will get hit hard but will be across all of UnitedHealth Group.
