Do we have any idea if more people will receive notifications about being laid off this month? From what I understand, the 143 that were previously notified by UPS are only the tip of the iceberg. I'm worried the worst is yet to come and many of us will be out of a job before February is over.

I only need 3 more years to retire been with the company over 30 years . Job gone in one zoom call . Whole departments wiped out . Have one month to find another job within UPS Or forced to take their offer . This is not over more to come ...
I don't think you are wrong. As far as customer service, all jobs will be outsourced by the end of the year.
It seems to me they usually do one big one every year, and a few smaller departments. Although, who knows? I'm hoping mine lasts a few more years at least.
