Hey Nonymous dude, few random observations. I have noticed, that (at least as of Mon.), all the US based Kmarts that share a town with a Sears have zero jobs listed on the jobs website. That means our theory of those stores closing may just be beginning to bear fruit, and come to fruition. I am cautiously optimistic, but I think White Plains, Key West, Miami, Silver Spring, & Long Beach Kmarts might hopefully kick the bucket soon! Well, actually Long Beach CA Kmart now has Part-Time jobs only, but that could indicate a potential closing.
Now, back to the topic of this thread, I was also observing in detail, Anonymous map guy's map here:
https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1p1KF8SWbdXxLBnqFrGe21e_VlcdCVdQU&ll=41.844579109537065%2C-139.97478575000002&z=3
I noticed he has made some changes for example he now includes White Plains, Key West Sears. However, I have not seen Pharr TX, Fort Collins CO, Thornton CO (Grand), Anchorage AK (Home & Life), Overland Park KS (Home & Life). Nor have I seen Brownsville TX, Aurora CO be removed yet. Just thought I'd run that map by you since you seem to be the expert on all things, Sears-locations, related, while List Man Jack seems to be the expert on all things Kmart-related. I noticed that on this map, he already removed MN Kmart, but on List man's map, it is still there. I read another post by Listman, that he is awaiting the City Council vote on May 13, to make it official. Hopefully that's just a formality as I am looking forward to the Nicollet Ave. intersection finally opening up. Take care!
