A core store is a location that does not fit into the neighborhood strategy or growth strategy. A core store won’t see the capital investments growth stores will get yet the location has a solid financial performance so the company does not anticipate closing it in the near future (next 3 years).
not all core stores in in prime malls we are a core store in a c rated mall and sears already left. wonder how long b4 they pull plug on our store.
You're last in line when the next time Jeff needs to cut more store.
He'll go with the outer crusts first (neighborhood), then growth, then you.
It's a matter to time, say 4-5 years? Plenty of time for you to get ready.
You are in a prime mall. That see growth. Neighborhood store are in declining malls that will decline in sales vs growth in the coming years
Core stores are those that don’t fall under Neighborhood or Growth stores.
You're store is safe. No closey-close. New stuff, lots of things for you
