Update your resumes and start interviewing outside the company. There are better jobs with less bullying and stress. I was laid off the day after my 65th birthday in November. I dusted myself and have been working elsewhere for a better employer who actually cares about their workforce. Just know that they are refusing to pay your accrued paid time off. Paid time off is not an entitlement; it is considered wages earned as determined by the department of labor. Good luck and move on!

You also forgot the layoffs from August btw entire teams gutted under debra ann. So it's been a tough year. My favorite story is the person who knew of the layoff for a month. Interviewed at competitor. Volunteered for layoff because she was already going to be employed took her severance but already starting at new company. That's winning. Not because the layoff but because she was not a victim.

LOL! Project team then a series of conference calls to discuss . Approval in 3 months after all the mgmt red tape but alas, no resources to implement. They bring in offshore resources to implement the change and roll back the date to 2025 for funding. Offshore slaps together the change then quality gives errors for not capitalizing the W in Wednesday. Due to the abundance of quality issues, people complained on the Vital Signs survey. A project team was formed again... Just another day at the office.

"Wed, Wed, Wed... Thur.

Makes no sense.

Why switch to Thur when we have a winning combo (Wed, Wed...)"

Someone probably complained on a Vital Signs survey about layoffs happening on Wednesdays, so they put together a project team and came up with layoffs on Thursdays.

The 10% cost reduction mandate is accurate and is a "mandate". Any area using eliminating positions to get to the 10% requirement will have layoffs on Thursday. A couple areas were allowed to go into March (mostly areas transitioning work to Ireland and Puerto Rico).

In your little FACT sheet you forgot the 12/23/2019 layoffs that happens at UHG.

Why does someone keep pulling posts out of one thread to make a new thread? It's annoying as hell.
