Doesn't matter if Ampere doesn't last, the people there are far better prepared skills-wise than the dinosaurs at Intel.
Ampere isn't going to last ... lolz. but yeah, you should jump ship of you can. Upper management is always scheming how to move your job to low cost sites or make you work over time supporting low cost sites.
