I was laid off I was told if you were employed after January 2, 2020 you will receive your RRP bonus. I have this is writing! I don't have high expectations but when you are unemployed something is better than nothing.
We will see about RRPs for all the people that are going to be let go next week. My bet is that they will NOT be getting one. Whatever is in HR is not binding as they can change policies whenever they like just like cutting the ESPP. They make it known that an RRP is not a guarantee. SInce 20% of dept staff are required NOT to get an RRP as a normal every year policy, I would think they would use that for any people that are going to be layed off and give the bonuses to whoever is left.
Looks like if you get severance you'd get a RRP.

Are terminated employees eligible?
To be eligible for an incentive award, you must be an active employee at the time such payments are made (the check date) [Feb 21st]. Employees who terminate employment prior to the date incentive awards are paid are not eligible for any awards. However, employees eligible for severance or separation pay (or equivalent) will be eligible for a year-end RRP award if the last day of employment is between January 1 and the payout date.
I read on another post that if we get laid off at this point we should still get our RRP bonuses since we are active employees after Jan 1. Does anyone know if that is true?
Claims C&S people have meetings week of 2.3.20 they’re saying meetings are for employees telling management the “good&bad” regarding supervisors that’s what the “meetings “ are being held for. according to my Supervisor he said no layoffs. He must think his team is stupid. But, he actually is part of the uneducated!!!
I can also confirm and mass layoffs are happening in 02-06-20.UHG is a greedy company.
