Confirmed, loyalty and hard work still pay off in my sector. Just had a good review/raise/bonus. Stay positive, folks. Don't lose hope. Let's keep the positivity alive!
Thank you for the below info. Last year, I did get a 5, but I didn't know how rare they were. I would highly doubt it would happen again. I'm hoping for decent, but not counting on it. I'd rather not get my hopes up.
need bonus so badly. have to pay the rent and electric. this is not right. we work day and night. they said if we work hard and keep our metrics up it will be ok. btw-we sang and did the fun day stuff hopefully theyll realize that we were team players and cared about the company
Bonuses are based on salary grade to start. Complanner has everything already set. So if your below a 27 grade your bonus will be minimal imo. I would say probably 1.5% of your base salary is a good ballpark for lower level employees based on the last few years payouts. If your 27 and 28 its anywhere from 3 to 8% depending on the year. I am not sure about director level but would assume its a little more, maybe 10%. Your review score doesn't really affect bonuses that much. Its a formula based on the dept pool, individual rating and what they call entity rating which is likely the biggest factor. Which is how your overall large org did during the year. Your mgr will likely be pretty equatable to everyone and they have to get everything reviewed up to your very high dept head. So any major distortion is questioned and discouraged. Most directors and mgrs do not want that hassle. Your merit will not change much between a 3 to 4 or even to 5 . If your 3 you may not get anything or something minimal like .5 to 1%. If your a 4 maybe 1.5 to 2%. A 5 which is very rare and discouraged, you maybe get 3% but only if your underpaid as it is. Otherwise your looking at 2.5%. Yes the really screw you over is the jest of it.
Does anyone know, does review score (1-5) factor into wage increase percentage, or just bonus amount (or both)? Is it a set percentage decided for a location, or what impacts what? I know bonus amount can be based on impact within the company as well as pay grade. Who has the 411? Thanks.
The bonuses were likely spent on silly skits and fake rapper MD motivational bs artists who will help lift your spirits as they work you to the bone paying you peanuts. diggity doggity can we get a whoo whoop for the health care partner devita optum. Folks dancing in the aisles and laughing as they're getting shafted by the for profit hustlers
Bonuses are not awarded to new employees hired after 9/1/19. If you were hired after that date, no.
Plus,This year's moto...bonuses are not a guarantee.

At this stage in the game if you’re a GL 29 and haven’t been involved in your department’s planning for Merit + RRP you’re in the same boat as everyone else.....wait for your review which needs to be completed in the next ~2 weeks.
