Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Layoffs at sr dir and exec dir levels Only

The layoffs ARE at director sr dir and exec dir levels. That's it. Right now no one at lower levels unless they are being terminated for reasons other than needing to thin out the layers on the upper level. I mean if someone is being let go due to performance and it is unrelated to the company changes.

with midlevel and senior ppl let go leadership and hr are focused on lower levels now. The concerns will be where there are job redundancies. Where HCSC doesn't need so many people doing similar things. Also administrative type roles where someone no longer has a leader to support or work with, because those leaders were let go, may be in the next round of layoffs.

There is so much wrong information on here and the other threads. But some is from employees who either lost their jobs or they had friends who lost jobs. it is all upsetting. the culture went from really good to junk within a few months. It takes years to build up something that good but only a few dumb acts by people in charge to tear it down in no time at all. Some of the layoffs don't even make sense. There were people who were making a difference and were very much needed and valued and now they are suddenly done at the company. There is no logical plan.

The boss of one person who was just let go was not even told that the employee was let go. The boss found out when the employee called and told the boss. How unprofessional is that?

Also, this is not a sentence: "I mean if someone is being let go due to performance and it is unrelated to the company changes."
So maybe stop posting and go back to other ways of being the devil's PR person.

What kind of sociopath comes on here to suggest, after a mass layoff, that some of them at certain levels are due to performance? Honestly? It's not enough they lost their job - you had to take it upon yourself to declare that 'hey, despite what you're being told that this has nothing to do with your performance - this has everything to do with your performance. Feel worse about yourself, please."

You're a terrible human being.

Sounds like someone is towing the company lines. Unfortunately, just heard of a unit manager (lvl 37) was let go.

They also fired at least one VP, and laid off the Treasurer (who was a DSVP) this week
