Sure, most have been failed leaders in other areas...time will tell.
Maybe they thought hey let’s actually put the right people in the right job this time. Forced diversity just for the sake of PC is the purest form of stupidity.
It’s hypocritical to pick and choose when Denbury wants to act like a major and when it does not. Safety, yes. Innovation, ok. Diversity, not this time.
How about we stop complaining and focus on our own $hit... Grow up and move on if this isn’t for you. Plenty of other jobs out there for a bunch of victimized children.
Stop complaining - D–k is a great guy!
Oh boy, here we go!
Just an observation, at Denbury it seems white males are promoted while women are demoted or never given opportunities. Despite having the knowledge or experience, leadership prefers a man with no knowledge of the job.
IT is already screwed up after a certain individual became VP. HR has always been screwed up. IT under HR, wao, who is coming up with this idea?
EAM is all SAP so makes sense if IT is under HR. "Shared Services" is a direction a lot of companies are going and helps with streamlining all the service organizations to supporting the operational business
Read the email; supply chain. EAM, for starters.
What pieces would HR take?
Very predictable, just the usual suspects elevated. More layers of management, HR taking over pieces of operations was a surprise.
Predictable operations stuff. More managers roles created, no women promotions. Certain group grows large enough to justify VP position in near future. More work, less people.
Are details of reorg out?
