Folks, you need to stop listening to what you "heard" from Omaha. This has been posted many times already. When the hell has Omaha told ANYONE of any specific cuts??? No one is told anything until the day it actually happens. The Debacle of Omaha Lance Fritz hasn't been very straightforward or honest during his tenure. He keeps citing coal as the major player in this. WRONG, coal has been declining for quite few years now. He needs something to blame to keep as much of the attention away from him as much as possible. The StraightUP articles prove that. Fritz is doing what he can right now to keep the unrest within the company from boiling over. I've said this before, and so I'll say it again. Fritz is not to be trusted. Do not believe ANYTHING he says or posts in his stupid townhall videos. Like I said, he's done nothing but lie to everyone within the company and outside probably. Many people have quit already and its actually picking up the pace a bit. Folks you need to relax. If you get cut, then so be it. I feel your pain, just many others do.
A press of a button don't change ties or repair DERAILMENTS. when M.O.W. start to bail, they will be looking for workers. hang in there, you won't have much of a home life ,but it's a job. best of luck in the future.
They’ve already rescinded job offered to everyone that was hired in the last 30 days.
I was told from Omaha that major cuts to MOW workers to start early February. I am always positive but I just wanted you to be ready man. They say districts will be very thin.
@OP I wouldn't be so sure about that, especially if you're in the southern region. Cuts will make their way to MoW. It's only a matter of time.
Good luck with that....
Until tomorrow you mean....
