Do you know what are top three locations in terms of employee count? Also, how many work at Dublin?

The trend is clear - jobs slashed for the last 5 years.
Over the past 5 years.
Percent decrease for jobs outside of Asia = 34.5%
Percent decrease for Asian operations jobs = 13.0%
But not to worry: “employee relations are good”.

Seagate 2018 annual report says this.
“At June 29, 2018, we employed approximately 43,000 employees and temporary employees worldwide, of which approximately 36,000 were located in our Asian operations.”
It also says this, which is true, but a company going down the tubes has trouble meeting this goal.
“We believe that our future success will depend in part on our ability to attract and retain qualified employees at all levels.”
And this which is complete b—s—.
“We believe that our employee relations are good.”
Dublin is a post office box close to the office of a law firm. Population zero.
Korat, Wuxi, Springtown, Normandale + other sites = 40k employees
Back in the day (say early 90s) Seagate had 130,000 employees, most of them working on production lines in Asia. Minnesota had a large (maybe the largest) number of employees in the States. About 3000 at NRM, and 1000 when SHK was built. But now, in 2000, the numbers must be much reduced. Reduced by half? Probably.
