This is what happens when you manage and lead with political correctness.
Have to hand it to Farley; he may be stupid, but he is not dumb....he hired a good lawyer to negotiate for him one heck of a sweetheart deal. Could also be recognition about how he now serves at the whim of BIg "No Pelivis" Jim and Bad Billy Boy Ford....whom lately seem to be changing executive team members like their underwear.
If the owners of a company cannot lead .find someone that can. It will be painful but necessary. Too late for mr Mullaly style. These clowns have no clue other than their own pocket...the company should pay people to stay and fix the situation instead of giving prp..
Just Unbelievable - SMH. Company is just lost, and with these two, no urgency to seek a capable CEO on the outside ie. Alan Mulally. Really miss that man, he was worth his weight in gold.

Contrast this story to the news report on the same day about the Delta CEO forgoing his salary for six months as the airline industry is suffering as a result of travel restrictions. Ford has been struggling through a slow-motion restructuring for years costing employees jobs and shareholder value, yet JH and JF continue to line their pockets. Ford is in a crisis of leadership and the Board of Directors does not recognize they have put the Company into a death spiral.
The Ford family has the greatest influence. Farley is not well liked but has won the Ford family over. Elena was promoted by Farley. Those seeking promotions and top achiever have fallen in line
