I have a feeling this could be the start of one of the biggest crisis yet, which means that layoffs will most likely be brutal.
I don't want to sound like an alarmist, but if you don't have a backup plan ready, you should be working on one right now. Chances that this will end without major casualties are slim to none.
Ship is sinking, and competitors are too. Jump in the lifeboat before they are all filled up.
