Dear HR Leadership,
I do not want to read anymore social engineering posts about inclusiveness and diversity. What I, and the other non-management employees need, is a paycheck that at keeps up with inflation.
Do you know how depressing it is to know the longer you work at Windstream the more you will fall behind the rest of American workers earning power? Working long term at Windstream only leads to poverty and despair. If you cannot run the company any better then leave and lets bring in someone that can!!! Its not a prison nor is it your private piggy bank!!

” How do they feel about paying for what the peep stole?”
Not good
Yet WIN has to pass along that loss (theft) to the customers. How do they feel about paying for what the peep stole?
And the "PEEP" saga continues :) You seem to be obsessed with the peep??? What would make you happy, for the police to dig up his dead buddy and drag it into court ? Start worrying about yourself and hanging onto your job rather than spending your free time worrying about what happened over a year ago! BTW, his manager and the IT boss (SB) out of twinsburg need to be held accountable for not stopping this as it happened.
Hah, that yearly raise? It's going to the LR5. As someone noted you are paying to work at WS.
Have a good day!
Honestly it's pretty crazy, there are some c-ap people who are now senior engineers at this company that had no business ever getting promoted out of BTAC.
Meanwhile the operations side of things has become nothing more than a training ground for other companies to swing by and poach the last couple people out of the network operations centers, you always hear about these great contracts that people are landing. While keeping support for these customers is a afterthought.
Most people are looking at a potential layoff as a great stepping stone to go and find something better, its too bad that the good people will never meet the criteria for getting chosen as part of a rif.
OK STOP THE WHINING. It's been close to two years now since the IT section was laid off. It has been a year since the bankruptcy. Why are any of you who are crying about pay still there. The jobs are plentiful in our sector. Leave and you will see a large increase in pay and a huge difference in corporate culture.
If you're a salary worker that hasn't gotten a raise in 5 years that just means you s—
The way to get a raise is to leave
Salary employees have not got a raise in 5 years while the hourly workers do every year. I guess we are not as important.... So hooray for ya'll.
Imagine having leadership like this instead of corporate greed!
Southwest CEO to take pay cut: WSJ
Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly has told employees that he will take a 10% pay cut due to the effects of the coronavirus outbreak on the global airline industry, reports The Wall Street Journal, which has “created the biggest challenge... since 9/11.” Airlines are experiencing a precipitous decline in bookings, with most slashing their number of flights, while others are laying off workers, enacting hiring freezes or requesting staff to take unpaid leave. Delta Air Lines has joined American, United and JetBlue in making "deep cuts" to both its domestic and international schedules.
Your 401k match in company stock was a hell of a nice con the LR5 pulled. You people are literally paying to work at Windstream.
Well, my manager sits out of Twinsburg (AB), she told me that we WILL be seeing a modest pay increase for hourly people. She reports to SB so I would think she has a direct line into what's happening. Time will tell I guess..
Please don’t beg the master for more sc-aps from his table. It’s not going to happen. Find a new job where you are paid what you believe you are worth. So many positions are available in other companies.
Only the top will see increased earning. It should be apparent to everyone that executive bonuses are more important than employees raises. You’re not going to get a raise, but the executives will continue to receive millions in EXTRA bonuses over and above their already high salaries. That’s just the wat it is and the way it will remain.
