Population Health : The lies in this town hall are unbelievable.

The QSDS (HEDIS) is a mess. This VP chick just tried to spin how good it is! “The automated system got so many chases out into a scheduled status”. Yes it looks like they are scheduled but they were faxed to a 999-999-9999 number they really didn’t go anywhere. The providers they have managed to sent medical record requests to haven’t seen these members in 10 years or never. Their overseas teams and automated systems are working so well that one team of us has to work mandated all weekend to clean up the mess. So much for her changes to “make things better for us”. It really disgusts me that senior leadership buys her lies, I wish they would ask us what the truth is. If I am lucky enough along with everyone else looking for a new job, she can find out how well her off shore teams and automated processes really work. That’s all that will be left. But as the medical director said “we need to do more with less” writing is on the wall. They will make us suffer until May and then we will be gone.

UHC is going to make up the offshore savings difference by lawsuits filed for the leaking and selling of PHI by offshore teams. I just got a threatening call related to a family member's diagnosis, that no one else would have known. The heavy Indian accent telling me he's calling from "Virginia".

It's the same thing everywhere. They hire the overseas team "to create efficiency" but they cause issues that the US team has to fix or work around. On these calls, they have to praise these overseas teams especially Ireland because leadership wants the tax benefits. Ireland has been coming in, working a few months on a multi year long project then take all the credit for it. The worst part is the Ireland teams happily accepting all the credit and not acknowledging the teams that actually did the work. That's why onshore teams don't like them! 5% of the work but 100% of the credit.
