"Manager in Claims, she had to get rid of 6 in Feb lay off and now she has to do another one." Is this on business side or IT side?
Manager in Claims, she had to get rid of 6 in Feb lay off and now she has to do another one.
Were the layoffs discussed in today’s town hall?
Sounds likely about April 9th since the plan is to move work to Legato the end of 2nd quarter. Probably will blame it on the stock market and coronavirus.

Good insider info - but - is it a rumor or are you getting this from a trusted source?
Massive Lay Off set for April 9th. There were supposed to be three, Feb, April, Aug. They are now just doing a massive one in April.
Contractors aren’t considered layoffs - they aren’t Anthem employees. GBD is highly regulated - most Medicaid states have limitations for offshoring. Not sure where this info is coming from unless they’re talking about contract roles being eliminated.
It's stressful going into work every day knowing any day you can be gone. I know it's big business but people make the business successful
What contractors?
Not IBM, not Accenture.
Are these layoffs FTEs, contractors, or both? Large amounts of contractors let go in GBD IT past 2 weeks.
Curious where this info is coming from and if you're talking about people under Felicia or people within the COO.
