And it has nothing to do with skill set, position, salary, etc. Don't use logic. They've been laying off small groups of 20 or so and they haven't advertised it so if you don't know one of them or someone else that knows one of the layoff people you'll never know. They keep this under the radar so that it doesn't hit the news internal or external. They've gotten to the point that it can't be kept quiet. With these layoffs over the years, they have bitten into their sales drastically.
They will most likely liquidate pieces of what they have left and try and start over.
Start shopping your resume now if you're still there OR, worry and wait to get laid off.
