Thread regarding Seagate Technology Inc. layoffs

F Outlook

F— Outlook. Just my two cents. I hope the CIO gets fired for this b—s— just like he got demoted from corporate strategy for his b—s—. You may have saved money moving us to office but the productivity is going to be lost in the millions because I can't f—ing use my email anymore.

HA! There's no WAY they'll change from MS for at least a decade. I'm sure Google cost a fortune comparatively. What happened to everyone's GDocs?

If you publicly complain then Prepare to be labeled a “negative influencer”. It will be stuck on you for years and years. Godspeed to ya if you do it.

@2zot+13OVdNSj You dont really believe that,do you? Any issue that is highlighted is totally disregarded and the person that highlighted the issue is seen as the enemy by "leaders".Seagate management manages in an aggressive manner which is encouraged by upper management so any issue that is highlighted is seen as an attack on seagate.Dont be so naive.

What’s the point of complaining here? Doesn’t solve anything. Go talk to your leaders, highlight the real issues. You might be surprised.

The move to MS was for financial savings of $1M. CIO is looking for ways to cut costs, but at what cost to the company to implement and employee lack of productivity?

This CIO has taken IT back by 20 years. He has a regressive mindset and completely unfit for the job. I have a feeling that he received kickbacks from MS for taking away something as functional as Google and dumping this POS from MS on 25K employees.

The biggest layoff in IT history is coming. It’s all going to Penang by end of year.

I don’t agree with the job cuts in IT over the years. But I personally like the O365 experience. Give credit where due.

The CIO is clueless about technology. The reason he was hired was to slash IT jobs. Making him head of corporate strategy was a complete joke.

Just follow the simple 27 step process to use the mobile app Good luck trying to email a contact of people because you have to open up and search for your list in a different Ap every single time. Make sure to keep that non integrated separate chat window open at all times to clutter your desktop. If not you will just get a redundant email with you’re not real time chat. Anyone think this clutter fk MS system is better and makes communicating easier?
