This crisis will finally make it clear to shut down Bartlesville and consolidate to Houston. Move critical personnel and let the rest go.

And people laughed at them when they had the vision to include your standard "pandemic-price war combo" simulation in their probabilistic economic modeling.

The ELT knows everything and plans for everything. They knew this day was coming. They are that good. Just ask them.

Well - look at the market news and you will figure it out. Nobody was preparing for $20 oil, now we'll have to deal with it.

It's exponential everywhere

OP, you started this same thread on several different company pages. Are you a grad student seeking thesis material, or a reporter?

  • 6av your response is amusing. The ELT and their brilliant hive minds are never surprised by any scenario because they have planned for everything. Years ago they ran a simulation scenario and horse-blanketed a Corona-Virus19 (different from -18) scenario and THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO. Yes, they are that good.

Most of our travel is useless managers visiting locations to bump up their airline miles or executives flying on our fleet of private expensive leased jets to “motivate” the troops. Everyone’s productivity should be increased with less of both, so the company’s productivity should actually increase with less travel.

But, that said, the recent drop in oil prices (again) finds the ELT surprised (again), so we’ll probably over-compensate by seeking more assets sales at cycle lows, increasing the BOD size to recognize friends, and laying off more employees.
