Thread regarding HCSC (Health Care Service Corporation) layoffs

Advancing Our Purpose Business Plan

What an effing joke! The business plan is just more of the same vague, wordy corporate speak that they always give us. There is no substance or real direction. It’s very disappointing.

Honestly, if anyone surprised? Dave Lesar is the former chair of Halliburton Energy Services. Close friends with D–k Cheney. In fact, The movie "Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers" claims that Lesar has been paid over $42,000,000 by Halliburton since the beginning of the Iraq war, but this amount has risen significantly since the release of the film. According to The Wall Street Journal Lesar received about $14.9 million in 2010 alone, not including stock options or other deferred incentives – a 20% increase over his 2009 pay package, according to a securities filing.

This guy knows one thing, and one thing only. How to squeeze every ounce of profit from a company. ...and guess who mentored the new CEO, Maurice Smith? Oh, and Lesar isn't going anywhere, he'll remain on the board of directors and will continue to have his bidding done.

Buckle up everyone, 2020 is going to be rough. We're only getting started.

Did anyone expect more than the same sh— leaders put out every year? Have you noticed how mean, rude and nasty leaders and others are now? So many people want out. First they were glad they were not laid off. Now they’re sad and hurt and tired of being treated like c-ap. They wish they could find jobs faster to get out. These awful people tore up the company on the guise of changing it to make it better. Instead, people are unsure of what to do. They don’t know where to go for help for the people they worked with were laid off and they don’t find that out until the learn by accident that they’re no longer there. Because under the new rule they wouldn’t dream of being honest about who was let go. They just let you find out on your own. No one knows where to turn and they don’t trust their leaders. They are afraid to ask questions because when they do they are treated harshly for asking. It’s so f—ed up. Dave Did a number on everyone and he is getting away with it. Thug. But there are leaders willing to go along and sell their souls for the money they will
Make in the short term. Screw everyone else.

Ethics can't be in the business with lesar as CEO. Google him and secretary of interior zinke for an explanation.

Just listen to the Weird Al song "Mission Statement". It's every bit as valuable as any piece of communication they send out, and at least it has a catchy tune.
