Go on strike and UP calls contractors to fill jobs, or one of the thousands that applied. YOU TOUGH GUYS are gonna fight, threaten, slash tires if the contractors crossing your picket line??? Please, then your out of a job and in jail. Then....contractors take over the whole show and your stupid a–’s never get called back and your terminated. Union will not back some sh– like a strike, they lost their balls in Reagan years, unions are there for show! It’s a scheme, when was the last time you got a claim paid, or had something done for the last FRA violation?? Unions are here to take YOUR money and pretend....they...cannot....do...sh–...to stop this falling house of cards. Either you conform or beat f—ing feet!

All union railroad jobs are on way to being outsourced now, at a fast pace. Everybody that wants to do the same jobs their doing now will be doing it for half the wages soon. Just ask the people who are laid off and doing the same type job for c-ap wage. Better do something fast because the railroads are and they don't give a c-ap about you or your family.

Hell yeah let’s strike. Don’t tell me about the law. Just do what UP does and say that law is archaic and doesn’t apply anymore to a modern railroad. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If the Union doesn’t want to organize a strike then lay off sick or however you can. There’s people now fired and sitting at home that we’re scared to strike. There’s nothing to lose!!!

Big guy , your right it takes courage to stand up for yourself , and what is right. All it would take is a ten minute shut down and things would change and it would make national news.

it took less than 30 minutes from time this was posted till a UP official was triggered. I would love to see a strike and the clowns in the executive suite get on TV and defend their actions or lack there of.

You don’t need the Union! All it takes is a five minute shut down. If union refuses to represent its people then it’s up to the workers to defend themselves.

You will have a difficult time getting your union on board with something that is a violation of the Railway Labor Act.

Time is now. All say government will shut it down. I’m sure they will . But I’m sure fox and cnn would cover it! Let’s get this thing noticed.
