All employee meeting

Lies! All lies. Especially the id–t corporate stooge in the beginning. Trying to tell us that layoffs were necessary because of how expensive it is to run a company! Pieces of sh–

It was an all employee meeting for M&R and C&S. They merged and are now known as Gov Programs. It's the biggest group in the company so it reflects UHG as a company very well and the whys of layoffs were discussed

It’ was an all hands for certain teams not company wide town hall.

I am wondering why I was not at an "all employee meeting" on Friday as someone stated below. Can't be a real thing as we have never had one...

Just saw the recap on the hub. Yes first 15 minutes was about Cost Cutting / layoffs and the merger of the two groups. He addressed the layoffs and said profits are lagging indicators. Longer term timeline and we need to see better growth. Said growth is not good except Medicare. Medicaid and E&I not doing well. Also bad investments and trying to correct is necessary. I would advise all employees to watch at least the first 15 minutes. I do not agree with everything but it is what it is. I do not foresee it getting particularly better. Being employed in this industry will just carry higher risk than many others. Though you are not going to be paid a premium for that risk. Its up to you on your next career move.

@oom+13KSmK32 I agree with this guy. They don't mention layoffs in all employee meetings. I doubt the op even works for uhg

How is the OP fishing for details when he/she didn’t even ask a question? You’re probably the same id–t going around trying to criticize every post against UHC or telling people layoffs aren’t happening.

Which area was the all employee meeting for? Usually you can find a recap of all of them on the hub a few days after.

It's so obvious this a false post. Not a single detail re: segment, LOB, and former/current FTEs know senior leadership never mentions layoffs in this type of meeting. Clearly the OP is fishing for details. And heads up, OP, they aren't called, "All employee meetings,"

If you spend money on company business expenses its called a "tax write off " maybe they shouldn't spend millions setting up offices and hiring employees in third world nations! I felt like that whole meeting was a jonestown throwback of sorts and I was being told to drink the Koolaid!. ..
