Getting laid off from there will end up being the best thing that could happen. People will find out how underpaid they were.
Exactly! I left on my own a year ago for a job that paid nearly 50% more - and it was the same position! I keep telling my former coworkers to start looking while they still have a job, but for some reason, people seem too scared of change unless it is forced on them.
But either way, leaving SS&C will not be as bad as many are imagining.
