Total BS. I was driving revenue and was cut when others didn’t contribute anything.

The company is in a tail spin approaching earth at a fast rate. The best thing that could happen to people there is to get laid off. I can’t see this company surviving past 2020. When I got the pink slip I was a happy person. 😛
HCC people now I. Key roles??? HCC NEVER posted a profitable qtr but I got cut after closing $3M this f.y.
They brought in friends and dregs from companies who didn't want them. Those useless people came in and didn't understand skill sets and why they made less. Despite generating millions, they spend their time making sure we all left. And after leaving at the end of a project they send a message to HR and spread rumors they fired you. They have protect number one. Who is a useless waste of space.
Yep - many decisions made based on highest salaries (less than VP level). Interesting when you consider that these higher paid people who had been there for many years were higher paid because they were high performers. Go figure.
They definitely picked, on average, the highest paid
The same thing happened to me. The company is systematically firing the highest paid employees and keeping all incompetent executive leadership. Leadership (if you can call it that) has set up a shell company, taking a high salary and having fun messing with people's careers. I've never seen a more incompetent ruthless company in the past two decades.
If you were whacked from your team my guess is you were the highest paid. That's what happened to me. Purely $$$ move.
This is the trend of the company. Do absolutely nothing and get promoted! Bring revenue in and do your job and get laid off.
