Failed Mergers from the LR 5

'Detroit-based Rocket Fiber acquired by Everstream'

Good to see companies that aren't like WINMQ or Frontier acquiring similar companies that have much better leadership in place than the LR 5. How many failed 'mergers' did the LR 5 preside under? Too many to list here. Have they every completely completed the mergers of various infrastructures/databases from the acquired companies? Probably not, it isn't a priority for the LR 5, it never was.

Earthlink acquisition - Wall Street is still laughing at WINMQ for this. Ten years ago it might have made sense.

WINMQ will be carved up and sold off at cheap prices. Nobody hopefully wants to acquire them except for their decent fiber around the country.

LOL - Kinda like what I do when I have something I don't want - put it at the end of my driveway, and someone will take it :)

Buy Windstream to get your hands on their Lucent 5E’s and Paradyne DSLAMs and no customers? Layers and layers of old CLEC networks just connected via OC48s riding over Lucent DMXs for T3 transport. How would you even peel off some of that to sell? CLEC is a dead model that loses money at an alarming rate and that network just needs to be shut down. I shut down a site for another telecom and nobody was willing to pay a dime for that Lucent 5e. It took time to find someone to just come take it for free. It was that or sc-ap it.
