Windstream vs Uniti I scratch your back you scratch mine trial. CFO vs CEO. Will settlement happen prior to a gavel being swung by the Judge. Who will win? The whole deal was suspect will trial open eyes and trials going after fraudulent issues and the folks behind them.

I think they should delay the trial, it sounds like WIN and UNI need more time. They are going to need more KEIP money as well.
It's going to trial next week unless the lawyers burn the mightnight oil all weekend.
UNIT isn't 100% onboard with the concessions that were offered. UNIT will lose money
on WIN over the next 10 years, they are just doing damage control to control the bleeding.
If WIN doesn't get the concessions on their copper leased circuit in the ILEC footprint they already have a plan B in place for the creditors.
Either way UNIT loses in both the short and long term and TT knows it. UNIT had a dying business model and needs to diversify away from WIN. That isn't going to happen overnight, UNIT needs us for the short term cash to stop from folding.
I bet trial and bet Uniti loses and Little Rock country club bridge games get lighter. Come on Coronavirus

There are interesting comments on the likelihood of a settlement before trial next week. Some see the absence of Uniti execs from an investor conference as a sign intense negotiations are underway.
Others point out that within several days of a trial, lawyers pretty much have to focus on getting ready for trial; this effectively ends most settlement talks.
Like thelayoff.com, comments on that Uniti investor board range from insightful to stupid. The spelling is better, the words are a little bigger, the sentences longer and sometimes the posts are just impossibly long and complicated. Some of the regulars hate each other.
Still, it’s worth a skeptical skim if you’re interested in where the Uniti trial is headed.
This will never go to trial. Uniti and Windstream execs are all close friends and family. Gunderman vs Gunderman? Nah, they had a lovely xmas together and are planning their summer vacations together. Its all just a show for the creditors
