It’s very nice the TOTY’s is an insular celebration of the best ideas in a given year. Not always indicative of commercial success or brand appeal, but a bit of fun during Toy Fair. These are really “bought”

So, Mattel wins some awards because they paid for it. But, if another company wins some awards, it's totally legit???
According to the TOTY site the big winners of the night were MGA which won the distinguished toy of the year award for the third time and ZURU who raked in the most votes for the People’s Choice Award. They don’t even mention Mattel winning the most awards. This is just more propaganda by the CEO.
