To the employees and familys involved with the layoffs my heart goes out to each of you. Good friend of mine was given notice on Friday and it really hit home. God bless 🙏 all of you
It was Keith Meister who acquired a bunch of shares and if I am correct he sold them all some months later.
They got 2 more customer service reps and a supervisor in Bristol. Just picking us off a few at a time.
I was told by a union steward that they are laying off a total of 330 some people in Minnesota total.
Storey is laying off both represented & non represented, but in a very calculated way. He’s sacrificing small #’s of non rep in order to achieve larger #’s of rep employees. He will bust every union this company has. He is not a fan of anyone who has power to
Stand up to him. His mindset is this, “you bend over & take whatever I give you because I’m more deserving than you”.
For gawd sake, he’s even taken away bonuses & standby pay for techs. & even our freaking Christmas card our artist has made for the last 30 years. There needs to be a petition to push him out & force that Kevin Meister fanboy of his to sell his 5.5% of company stock. He’s also part of the reason we have Storey to begin with. He’s the one that caused Post to leave.
All and all how many total between represented and non represented and Management ?
I wonder if we will ever know but thinking we were at what around 26,000 total they said at contract and have had VSPP offers and other layoffs plus the soon to be announced closing and movement of the dispatch center in Minny to South Dakota. Now the numbers today look to be well over 2000 if we look at the over all numbers and assume it's that way everywhere.
