Latest is mid March timeframe. 600+ jobs in North America. SHocK? Time will tell.

Hard to believe the CIO who cut IT into the bone to reduce cost, probably based on the CEO's orders would be on his way out. Making him SVP of product development was an unusual move to say the least.
Unless you're planning on reducing R&D by 40% by cutting the US workforce and moving it all overseas, I'm not sure what this CIO would do for product development in the first place.
On LinkedIn our CIO removed his second title of SVP Corporate Strategy in February. Maybe he is on his way out

Yeah. Hearing hallway rumors of ssd with some collateral damage to other functional groups as house cleaning. Not sure how credible.
Hearing about major layoffs in SSD Longmont. And minor layoffs in other teams. Also heard a few VPs with small teams are going to be affected.

This is the layoff.com so I'm guessing they are asking if a layoff in March. No rumors only truth at Seagate.
