Possible major shakeup in the consulting org is coming. RIS, RMS OBIEE engineers and managers have been let go last week. Not sure of the total impact, or numbers. This is not good. Its indicative of a lack of business at Oracle. You don't let consultants go unless you have a bunch of people on the bench for a very long time and you don't expect any uptick in business in the near future.
These are the guys who get stuff done and make sure projects are successful. When they are gone, its not pretty. Projects don't complete on time and customers are not satisfied.
Wonder if more people could share on whats going on in the consulting org.
