Thank you to Vickie and the rest of the Oxy executive team. Your sheer stupidity, impatience and greed has allowed me to cash in on Anadarko's generous change of control plan and take an early retirement. Without each of you I'd still be working away at a job I enjoyed, however, retirement is even better is I'm not complaining. I am looking forward though to the day that Oxy goes down in flames from your poor decision making. You all have done an excellent job destroying two once proud companies.

Kind of one sided to blame Oxy, APC’s CEO and Executives put the company for sale. Decided to cash out and retire with millions. They were doing a bad job already and knew they could not do better. And obviously too proud and greedy to just quit.

You’d have been let go anyway probably and with a worse package without an acquisition. APC was being mismanaged by greedy executives that didn’t care about the company, just cared about being richer.

Don’t be so bitter. You just were not needed like so many others. If you really want to thank someone it should be Al for selling all the APC employees down the river. APC was once a gem of a company, but under his tenure he ruined it, so put the blame where it goes. Our group has welcomed a few APC employees and they are great to work with. Our leaders had to tell others they were not needed. Be glad Al got you that fat check and move on. There are so many who lost there jobs on both sides that did not leave with such a generous package. It hurts not to be needed, but it seems you and your job function were not in the combined company. Enjoy retirement, but let loose of the hate, or you will be a bitter person.
