UIPath is a great tool but there are many complexities that need human interaction as nothing is black and white. Teams are already minimized and employee/customer sat is taking a hit now.
It can happen in a day, any day. I was part of a 486 person RIF in a day.
There’s a new department (IPA) which is quickly deploying increasing automation across all business units. It makes sense because it gets rid of many manual repetitive tasks but will eliminate workers. The message to the mid managers to the troops is there will be no job cuts and we will find people new jobs, “where possible.” Time course is now but implementation period and how long until changes is anyone’s guess. I suppose that’s where some of the 1000 layoffs will come from if the post is true.
Thanks for the heads up. Any idea as to timeline? Over a year, six months.. a day?
