Has anyone heard of additional layoffs? I heard Population Health was getting hit again-Any truth to this?

Have it on good authority that a big one will hit Optum 1st week of March.
Per the comment right below, The bonus talked about is the qvc bonus, not the map bonus you’re referring to that’s mentioned to In an article on The hub.
In regards to the Optum bonus payout date it was always listed as 2-21-2020 as far as I can tell. I saw the 2-21 date listed on the HUB common review thread at least 1 - 1.5 months ago.
QVC bonus is where the change in payout was moved from 2-7 to 2-21
Most of the people...particularly in PHS IT drink the cool aid and s— up. So fearful.

I can’t be the only one out here that finds the change in bonus payout date and last minute town hall cancellation strange....
They are literally training up phillipines techs to replace US based IT desktop and helpdesk techs. SME ROLES, CLINICAL SUPPORT MANAGER, MORE TECHS. Doens't matter how good you are, they want those cheap cheap warm bodies that bearly know IT.

Exec leader below, thank you for sharing what I suspected was true. Lots of top performers being cut due to cost containment. Driving towards mediocrity.
I have struggled with this because I am a compassionate person so it’s difficult when you are faced with this... I am a senior leader, exec level. I know our global roadmap. We use stacked leaders and a bell curve of performance at each extreme end.
Ok That's funny - @137Lu1ZD-2gdn. ALL of IT moving to Philippines??? Specify an area or business unit, not all of Optum IT (or UHG) is moving offshore.
I know march has layoff for IT. ALL THE team is being moved to the phillipines. That team was notified back in August..... They do LARGE layoffs but don't tell everyone.
Typically RIFs don’t happen on Fridays as part of policy.
