Something that has been predicted for while has finally started happening. Management is turning on each other trying to save their own asses. Not only that, they are sharing info (when they have it) they are not supposed to share with us peons.
Recently our SRO warned us of some upcoming changes. They seemed so far-fetched we dismissed them. But as it turns out he was right. SROs, MROs and even directors are sharing info they are told not to share. And they are cutting each others throats now too.
During some recent juggling to eliminate some managers, it became clear to the SROs what was happening. Sad but comical to watch as they all try to sell each other down the river to save themselves.
They only good to come of this is now the SROs are willing to help us beat the system, by sharing what metrics are important and which are not. And they are starting to act and react just like us in the field.
It ought to be very interesting when they start eliminating the excess management. Just when you think it can't get worse. It ought to be interesting to see what happens by end of the 1st quarter.
