Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

February 3 layoffs

Definitely layoffs coming the week of Feb 3, but don't know the impact. Unfortunately, complaining here isn't going to help. It's time that Sr. Leaders of this organization here our voices. We have a huge workforce. Can you imagine if even 1/4 of our 300k employees start speaking up and sharing our concerns? Wichmann needs to know we are not going to tolerate what he is doing to this company. Anyone who has been here a long time knows this is not what the company was before he became our leader. The raise and bonus budget for this year is nothing, but yet we are reporting billions and billions in profit. Start speaking up. Write reviews on Glassdoor. Comment on the HUB article sharing Wichmann's email about how well we performed. Be heard and it might finally stop!

Looks like CRT claim department is going to be hit. Heard they’re scheduling “touch base” meetings. Many during the week of feb 3rd. God bless us all..

Is there a reason why untied healthcare is not paying claims! Especially for Dental

We own a large practice and they owe our office a ton of money and keep dragging payment and not paying the claims

Tired of the intimidation, and hostile work enviroment. These are just ploys that an unimaginative company is using to get people to quit. So this is happening across the board in the insurance company industry. So we as american employees can stop this if we all get together and do something about it. Is we don't it will start to affect all jobs that are telephonic. There is power in numbers. It won't do just to write. U got to go see ur states representative. Have them draft a bill. Bring america jobs back. Or the company should give up its big tax break.

I did see some of the Hub comments on that Wichmann post and I gotta say, the Optum folks have balls..they DID post the very questions about lack of raises etc on the Hub. Wonder if the comments will be closed on the Hub come tomorrow and /or removed. That's the UHG way,! No truthful conversations, no open dialog and retribution. THOSE are their core values.

Are you kidding?! I have been an extremely outspoken person in the poorly run department I’m still in and NOTHING has changed. What the hell do you think complaining to the very POS running this nightmare company is going to do magically stop his lay-offs?! You must be someone in the deep state trying to flush us all out and make an “example” out of “the complainers”. You’re a JOKE just like all the rest!
