Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

If you never bothered to integrate you don't need to separate them when you sell it

I don't see much future for DXC in the UK. They never really put much effort in as it has been left as two separate companies L-CSC and L-ES. DXC does not exist as a trading company in the UK and I wonder if that is because it will be easier to split it up when the time comes. If you never bothered to integrate you don't need to separate them when you sell it.

@136o70Fs-stp "And also, if you sold off ES, you'd had nothing left because Mikey had destroyed CSC down to the ground."

Well, it was announced that three divisions would be sold/spun-off (whatever!) and I know at least one of them (HHS) is making money hand-over-fist. When ES is actually sold off then DXC will completely crumble.

@136o70Fs-1xav agree with your analysis.

This is a nightmare. DXC have made an absolute mess of trying to merge ES and CSC into DXC. Systems are a shambles. Trying now to set up a separate entity for DXC Workplace and sell that is fraught with difficulty. I heard HPE are having a nightmare after the separation. So bad for the IT side they are starting up a greenfield infrastructure , moving everyone to it then will switch off the old. This should be what they do with DXC Workplace. Set up a new infrastructure, new HR, Payroll etc and move workplace people to it.

@136o70Fs-sgx that's not true actually.... the integration is happening but I've only actually seen it start to move properly towards the end of last year - after basically doing bugg3r all for over two years.

I wonder if the timing of that movement has more to do with the shift in upper management than anything else.

It literally turned on like a tap, money being liberated to make systems and processes join up.

I suspect this is the "One DXC" effect.

Don't knock me as a stooge either - this isn't good news, it just shows how Mikey and his lies are exposed. He declared "the integration is complete!" to Wall Street when it very much wasn't.

And also, if you sold off ES, you'd had nothing left because Mikey had destroyed CSC down to the ground. If you think you had it bad, you didn't see what happened on the other side of the curtain. I'd be surprised if there are 10,000 of CSC left - from 100,000 when he first became CEO.

Maybe that was the plan - "integrate" by just deleting one half.

I've said from the beginning of this sh!tshow that the EDS side of things would be sold off is 2-3 years. There never was a plan for an integration.
