Is it possible that many of these very well written posts telling us why everyone should leave Oracle ASAP possibly be written by someone in Oracle Human Resources so as to get as many of us to quit on our own and thereby avoid the bad PR (both internal and external) of a lay-off as well as having to pay us a severance? I’m not going to fall for this. Personally I’m going to stick around as long as possible so as to make these b–tards give me my severance.

Larry has said he is taking Oracle employees from 140k to 100k
How about a link? Or are you just making it up?
NO HR. Larry has said he is taking Oracle employees from 140k to 100k... it's in progress but not there yet. I would expect more layoffs coming for sure from my perspective. I've also heard this from management (of course speculation not insider info).
HR doesn't have time to bother with this site. There are no HR people here. They don't care. They are just trying to hold onto their jobs like everyone else.
why would HR care?
they aren't immune to the cut.
they are too busy worrying about getting the axe too to waste time here.
it ain't good to write in your status about being productive on this site.
save your conspiracy theories for another day.
Something I am really looking forward is to leave Oracle and stop this idiocy. HR doing moves and countermoves?. I am just happy working in a normal place with normal people.
id–ts.
Moves and counter moves.
Is it possible that someone who was with Oracle HR, to declare that an informed commentator is from HR in order to discredit, obfuscate and misdirect?
He’s actually warning those people to start looking AND get a severance to boot. Win/win and don’t get caught flat footed.
It is abundantly clear that Oracle HR is all over this site and is spreading FUD to confuse current employees and prompt them to leave.
This individual “The Ax-Man” is certainly a well-informed insider and all of his/her posts have been logical, factual, clear and connecting the dots of other random bits of information posted here.
I do not believe The Ax-Man is an Oracle HR plant, however. He is a very highly placed insider within the company (likely at the SVP or EVP level) who is helping keep the market informed.
