Optum getting rid of ICUE

I heard Optum is getting rid of ICUE- sure that is pointing to more layoffs. Anyone know if that is true and if so- what system will they replace it with?

Yes, ICUE is going away and being replaced by Optum Clinical Manager. I don't know if it will lead to layoffs.

The system will be phased out for a new one called Stratus. It will happen in phases over the next 2-3 years, and it is not an indication of layoffs.
IF layoffs are going to happen, they are not going to happen by taking away an entire system. System changes are unrelated to staffing plans.

I haven’t heard of this. I work directly in icue everyday but I’m not on the optum side, I’m UHC M&R. I do know they spent all this money training employees for this N4M program only to be taking all the work away and not giving any definitive date on when new training will be done. Supposedly, training for special needs members. But at this point it’s starting to worry me a little.
