Under the plan:

Tony Thomas, Windstream’s president and CEO, could receive as much as $9.5 million.
Robert Gunderman, chief financial officer and treasurer, could receive as much as $3.5 million.
Layne Levine, president of enterprise, could receive nearly $2.3 million.
Jeffery Small, president of Kinetic, could receive more than $2.1 million.
Kristi Moody, executive vice president-general counsel and corporate secretary, could receive more than $1.4 million.

So how can the bulk of the workforce influence the criditors (and subsequently Judge) as oppose to the few that are obviously being g bought off? I have seen the rumors that the creditors are relying on TT and company to push the ' it was a financial arrangement, not a true lease' argument.

If the creditors don't object, you can expect the judge to approve since it's spending their money.

The creditors did not object, although the US Trustee did.

See earlier comments about how the creditors may be interested in having the execs in a good mood when they testify during the Uniti hearings in March.

That is a serious question Judge! How do suggest regular folks deal with such a one side system? Frankly I DO NOT want to bend over and take it anymore from such an unfair and single sided 'justice's system that rewards the bad and punishes the decent. Perhaps a 'ME TOO' type protest in front of the courthouse to start if that is what it takes to start the talk!

Key note is that 2020 plan is 87'd right after reorganization is settled on. Lil T and time share crew get 1 qtrs worth of bonus treasure. Big Tex and 99 more get 1 qtr of Kerp. In April hopefully get to see majority of them given walking papers. Judge is blind of facts imo. These folks wouldn't secure employment close to level and pay they get.

There is a medical description for the executive's behavior that fits them to a T. but everytime the specific mental disease is named the posts are taken down.
To the LR5......the first step to wellness is admitting the truth! Are you really proud of prospering off the pain of others? Do you even understand why so many are angry? Look at the answer to the CTO's math quiz post. Your income growth has greatly exceeded inflation while most Windstreamers are losing to inflation big time.
Windstreamers have right to be angry at the executives, BoD and the courts. When a company cannot keep employee wages merely in step with inflation they are surely going under regardless of any rah rah.

I sit out of the Twinsburg station. I had a heart to heart talk with my IT director, SB. She told me that:

(Don't laugh everyone)

'TT said he was committed to keep EVERYONE working through 2020' (He meant just the executive team of course)

I have no reason to doubt her.
(But was she correct in predicting the company would file for Chapter 11 last year? She probably told you the company was on its way back up? Did she still have stock in the company like a loyal director is supposed to??)

I think this doom and gloom talk is just that, "talk" I would tell everyone that before you believe these negative posts to please sit down with your manager and get the facts!
(Has anyone even seen their manager the last 6 months??? Are you sure that wasn't just some AI you were talking with on the phone??)

The judge is same one who allowed Sears to be pilliaged during BK. All executives will have a bounty when they get kicked to curb. The 100 B level con artists will also collect. The worker bees will be whacked to achieve bonus and get hit when executives get replaced

Maybe you need to sit down and READ and understand the financials. We are losing millions every month, we pay out more that we take in. We have too much over head and cannot continue to operate as a company in that manner. Salaries and benefits are the biggest expense to a company and there is one way to save them, DOWNSIZING. If you think are safe because someone in leadership told you that you are dead wrong.

Its insane......eventually this sort of greedy behavior will catch up top them. Does anyone know where these people eat dinner. Perhaps causing a vocal ruckus at a restaurant ranting at these people in a vocal manner will hit the news and expose this situation to the public.
Once it does the BOD and Courts will have some explaining to do as well. But until then it is mostly just internal hurt for us unworthy Windstreamers to endure.
