Most of the talented people moved to other companies. People who stayed there useless people who can’t find another job, especially LCO. If they lose this job they are done. Lot of h1b slaves who graduated from level 2 universities have to go back.

I see layoffs of talented people. Comes time to rehire, have to hire 2 to replace the 1.
Incompetence breeds more incompetence.
An incompetent manager, in many cases, hires even less competent people and "yes men" In an attempt to appear more competent and to boost their ego. Wouldn't want a smart employee challenging what they do.
Seagate is full of this strategy today.
There are still some talented people at Seagate. But I have to say that in the past several years many talented people have left the company. During the numerous layoffs they seem to have gotten rid of talented people and retained the incompetent. In addition, many talented people have left in frustration due to the working conditions created by such a poorly managed company.
