Does live up to commitment to retirees. Insurance premiums for some retirees doubled within one year. Forcing all retirees onto a Medicare option plan by doubling and, in some cases, tripling PPO premiums. Many of these Medicare plans do not cover common pr-scrip-ion d–gs.
To be fair, the employee benefits are actually very good. You only have a high deductible if you choose that plan. Employees have access to other plans like PPOs with higher premiums but much lower deductibles and excellent networks. The working conditions are not bad for many. In fact, they are very good. There are serious problems there right now. All due to the CEO change and his poor behaviors. But to say that the benefits are bad is not true for active employees. Employees even have a pension plan and that is rare today.
