Im curious ? How many of you actually have taken the time to look around the country at Job postings for our type of work? Like really looked around hell there is a facebook site or two that list jobs daily across the country. Have you truly had time or taken the effort? If and when you do decide to cross that threshold, you may in fact be a bit surprised. To find out how many companies, and in how many CTL areas these companies are hiring for .
There are no less than 7 companies I have seen all looking for unit techs in CTL properties across the united states... I have seen literally 50-75 openings just recently and more every day. 1 of the companies many of you you know has listings posted for EVERY type of Job all for CTL !! I'm talking dispatch, supervisors, I&R, splicers, C.O. circuits, everything !! All in an area thats taken BIG hits in RIF and VSPP south eastern areas if ya follow......
So all of you SRO's reading this, know this they are actively accepting applications for YOUR job's as well as ours ...That should make you take a hard look at the state of things. I was actually e-mailed an opportunity and a list of available opening's by a company that i contracted for before becoming company tech. I called and asked, its legit it was confirmed.
