What will happen to M_A when the surprise toy fad ends? I think most of us thought it would end already. They have no boys toys doing well, screwdriver boy and wench man are worse then Masters. I would really hate to be on the boys team. If you get fired and live on his campus do you lose your housing also. Ouch!

mattel made a lame attempt with the thomas line and those cheap mini trains and the imaginext blind bags toys that no one wanted. that was as close as they came because mattel as proven over the years that they are ALWAYS behind the curve. I have to give the nutjob credit, he does manage to preserve and keep it going even though it seems like the same rehashed garbage in a different package.
Mattel kind of sat out on the sidelines for the whole surprise unboxing trend. I'm surprised they didn't try and jump on and establish some brands, it's a huge growth category.
