Anyone have any info on severance?

My last day was 11/20. I was told that i would receive severance; and an email with the details. Have not heard anything at all (12/11). Does anyone know what sort of timeframe to expect to learn more? Do you have to take some action (login, request, etc.,.) to initiate severance benefit? Searching the net for phone nbr that looks like it might provide any answers (HRDirect for former employees, perhaps?) - but not seeing anything that looks helpful. Thanks for any info - and i hope we all move on to better things!

I sent in all 4 pages of the severance agreement signed. I was let go on the same date as you and received the severance at the next UHC pay period.

Severance is based on your paygrade and length of employment. You should receive that plus any unused PTO up to 40 hours. Only taxes are deducted at a higher rate as stated above. Your manager should have provided all that to you. You need to reach out to him/her ASAP. You have about 90 days to sign the paperwork. Pay attention to the deadline date. Also, ypu should receive info on COBRA if you are continuing your health insurance. Pay attention to ALL deadlines.
Contact your manager and give your personal email so they can send you the documents. Good luck!

I was let go on Nov 20th as well. My old manager reached out to me yesterday to let me know my severance check was coming this Friday
