People claim to have reported to ethics although I am sure the fallout would be terrible. I have no idea if HR is aware. Within our entire department, everyone knows. Worst kept secret in BH.
As for the pressure to join, It happened to me and if I were to say, it would 100% be obvious what leader/team & who I am. Vaguely, 0 RRP /0 yearly increase was given to a high performer who said no (not me) and promotions were given without jobs being shopped. There is so much more.
Was HR aware of this? This sounds like an egregious abuse of power.
Can you expand on the pressure to join and the repercussions when you didn't?
I am not Batman but I have firsthand knowledge that this is fact.
